Shift: Monday - Friday

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to support our Urology department. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering patient care by providing both direct clinical and clerical support under the guidance of healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care including taking vital signs, medical history, and health maintenance under the direction of a provider.
  • Assist with indirect patient care, such as scheduling, referrals, chart preparation, and prior authorizations.
  • Conduct point of care testing with necessary documentation and quality control measures.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program OR active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic certification OR equivalent experience.
  • Certified BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 3 months of hire.
  • At least one year of direct patient care experience in acute or ambulatory settings is preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is an advantage.
