LPN Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico or compact state
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience, preferably in long term care, skilled nursing, or related healthcare setting
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced long term care environment
LPN Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long term care facility
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
  • Monitor, assess, and document residents' health status and progress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote their overall well-being
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
