Our company is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Energy industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about utilizing their Electrical Repair and Blueprint Reading skills to make a significant impact in energy production and management. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be integral to our operations, troubleshooting, and maintaining our electrical systems to ensure optimal operations. Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuits wiring and drilling holes.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
10. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
2. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems.
3. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and drawings.
4. In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Outstanding physical condition and ability to work in different environments, including adverse weather conditions and at heights.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
9. Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
10. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
11. Valid license to practice the profession.
