Job Description Job Description About the Role We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Property Manager to support the daily operations of a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the property manager, director, tenants, vendors, and ownership to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality property operations. Responsibilities Assist in the day-to-day management of commercial properties, including office, retail, and industrial assets. Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and service issues. Coordinate and monitor vendor services, including scheduling, work orders, proposal reviews, and contract compliance. Support preparation of operating budgets, financial reports, CAM reconciliations, and ownership reporting. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure property cleanliness, safety, and adherence to building standards. Assist with lease administration, including tracking expirations, options, certificates of insurance, and compliance items. Maintain accurate records, documents, and property management systems. Support project management for repairs, improvements, and capital projects. Assist with rent collections, invoice approvals, and accounts payable/receivable tasks. Provide administrative support such as drafting correspondence, preparing notices, and maintaining tenant files. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in commercial property management or related field preferred but not necessary. Real Estate License is a plus but not necessary. Strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with property management software (e.g. AppFolio) is a plus. Ability to conduct regular site visits and interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and partners. Knowledge of commercial real estate practices, lease terminology, and building operations preferred.
