Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Software Test Engineer, where you will play a critical role in the validation and testing of Over-the-Air (OTA) update systems. You will ensure the seamless download, installation, and reporting of OTA software updates, contributing significantly to the advancement of connected car technologies.
Responsibilities
• Support validation and testing of Over-the-Air (OTA) update systems.
• Execute test cases to verify OTA software download, installation, rollback, and update status reporting.
• Assist in monitoring vehicle and server-side OTA status logs to identify and report update issues.
• Document and communicate OTA validation results, anomalies, and test summaries to the engineering team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of vehicle infotainment and connected car systems.
- Familiarity with Over-the-Air (OTA) update processes, including navigation and media data updates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for test result tracking and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ypsilanti, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
