Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a life-changing therapy that empowers individuals with Autism and other developmental delays to thrive. Through personalized, evidence-based interventions, ABA helps build essential skills in key areas such as social interaction, communication, play, learning abilities, motor coordination, personal hygiene, grooming, and more.

What You'll Do:

• Run engaging and impactful one-on-one sessions (2 to 4 hours) in various settings, including our vibrant clinics, client homes, schools, and community environments under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Maintain accurate data collection of clients' progress and activities.
• Assess children's abilities and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters respect and collaboration among children.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and activities.
• Stay updated on best ABA practices in child development and early education.

Requirements

Position requirements:

• A minimum of a HS diploma or BA/BS in the field of Psychology, Child Development, Social Work or related fields.
• 6-months' related experience working with children or individuals with special needs.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations
• Capable and confident in working with children who exhibit challenging behaviors.
• Skilled at problem solving in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in oral and written English (Bilingual in Spanish speaking a plus)
• Ability to work 10-40 hours/week
• Valid California Class C driver's license, valid insurance, and own transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, take a TB test, and show proof of required vaccinations during our onboarding. Costs will be reimbursed with the first regular payroll.

Physical Expectations (Essential Job Functions)

• Ability to frequently move about in clinic, home, school, and community settings.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for periods of time while engaging with clients, taking notes, or using a computer/tablet.
• Ability to position self to interact with children at their level (e.g., sitting on the floor, kneeling, or standing).
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally (materials, toys, adaptive equipment).
• Ability to observe, respond, and redirect quickly in active environments, including walking quickly and sprinting as needed.
• Ability to use hands and arms for play, modeling tasks, or guiding clients through activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members in a clear and professional manner.

Job Type:

• Part-time (Mondays through Fridays, 4:00PM to 6:00PM)

Business hours:

• 7:00am to 7:00pm (Monday through Friday)
• 8:00am to 2:00pm (Saturday/Sunday)

Hourly Pay:

• Clinical Responsibilities (98% of position): $20.00 to $26.00/hourly
• Administrative Responsibilities (drive-time, training, team meetings, clerical work, etc.,) paid at current minimum wage.
