About the Role: Part Time Position: Applicant must be available to work some 7am 2pm shifts and some 4p-7p shifts. total approximately 22 hours weekly

As a Server in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients and clients receive high-quality dining experiences that contribute to their overall well-being. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service by taking orders, serving meals, and accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery, while also maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Additionally, you will be responsible for fostering a welcoming atmosphere that promotes comfort and satisfaction among patients and their families. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the quality of care and support provided to individuals in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a healthcare or assisted living environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Take meal orders from patients and clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to dietary needs.
  • Serve meals and beverages in a timely manner, while providing attentive and courteous service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members and contribute to a positive team environment.
