Our growing network of Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the Orlando area is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide high-quality anesthesia services as an independent contractor. Enjoy a predictable weekday schedule in modern outpatient facilities, fully supported by an experienced clinical and non-clinical team.
Location: Orlando, Florida Metro Area
Status: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: Daytime hours only - no call, nights, weekends, or holidays
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia for a standard ASC case mix: Orthopedics, Spine, Pain Management, Podiatry, Cardiac (pacemaker implants)
- Practice independently and supervise CRNAs when required, maintaining collaborative teamwork.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and post-operative assessments.
- Adhere to all facility protocols, patient-safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance to keep daily schedules running smoothly.
Requirements:
- MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- ASC experience preferred; strong inpatient practitioners with an interest in outpatient care are welcome to apply.
