CVOR Technologist

Job Description

The CVOR Tech performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. This role requires dedication and a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and care of pre-operative patients.
  • Support surgical teams by ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
Schedule

This position involves a schedule of two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts each week, with on-call hours from 7 PM to 5:50 AM on weekdays. On-call obligations will be rotated, requiring 24-hour coverage on weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a CVOR Technologist.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
  • Must be willing to train and learn as necessary.
