• Design and implement machine learning models for healthcare applications to enhance patient care, optimize clinical workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and software engineers to translate clinical needs into AI solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data, including Electronic health records and clinical charts.
• Ensure models comply with regulatory and ethical standards (e.g., HIPAA, FDA) and are interpretable.
• Develop data preprocessing, feature extraction, and model deployment pipelines in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Monitor and retrain models in production to maintain accuracy and fairness.
• Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using best practices.
• Stay updated on AI/ML research and trends to enhance existing systems.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to accelerate AI development.
• Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models for classification, regression, recommendation, and NLP

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of AI/ML development experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, No-SQL databases, microservices architecture, and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and CI/CD, MLOps tools.
• Experience with LLMs - Gemini LLM, or equivalent for training, deploying, and fine-tuning models, Agentic AI, LangGraph, LangChain, Kubeflow.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): Combining Gen AI with vector databases (e.g., Google's Vertex AI Search, Pinecone, or Weaviate).
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems (e.g., Epic, Athena).
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
• Understanding of healthcare privacy and compliance requirements (HIPAA).
