General Responsibilities:

Manage off-site satellite campus facility and programs. Responsible for all administrative operations at the site. Under the auspices of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, oversee site budget, manage facility and supervision of staff personnel. Serve as an ambassador of the College. Must be active in community and civic organizations within the Site service area.
Examples of Duties

Job Functions:

1. Uses enrollment reports to make data driven decisions about course scheduling, regularly assess K-12 and business partnerships to determine program and course offerings and help coordinate MOU and articulation agreements with K-12 and local business partners.
2. Assist with student support services at the site including but not limited to recruitment, advising, enrollment, and tutoring/coaching for academic and non-academic courses/programs. Monitors student behavior at the site; addresses student complaints; and helps students navigate the Student Concerns Process. Plans, organizes, evaluates, and manages the day-to-day operations and activities of a satellite center.
3. Proctors testing at site and monitors classes to ensure high quality and efficiency; submits repair and maintenance requests to ensure the upkeep of site; recruits, onboarding, trains, assigns, supervises, and maintains staff to manage administrative functions of satellite campus.
4. Collaborates with division administrators and department chairs to recruit, approve, and assign faculty to teach credit and non-credit courses; builds partnerships and participates in local board, community, non-profit, and for-profit organizations.
5. Works with Marketing and Public Relations to create and maintain promotional materials that highlight course offerings and services at the site. Establishes and maintains liaison with community leaders, community and business organizations, and public agencies to determine the needs of the satellite campus and to stimulate interest in satellite campus programs (Academic and CWD programs).
6. Coordinates recruitment, registration and orientations; college fairs, site tours; other community outreach activities to promote the site, build relationships, and expand student enrollment.
Typical Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and related instructional/training experience. Must be willing to work varied hours including evenings and weekends if needed; routine travel required to other campuses, and moderate physical requirements.

Preferred Requirements:

Prefer a bachelor's degree plus three (3) years' of progressively responsible experience specifically related to management of off-site satellite center. Must be able to coordinate diverse administrative functions. Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with all areas of the public; develop a good knowledge of agency policies, procedures, rules, regulations, admissions, registration and financial aid regulations. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Technical knowledge regarding computers and audio-visual equipment is required. Good organizational and computer skills needed.
Supplemental Information

Anticipated Work Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Friday, 8:00 am - 11:30 am. Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends if needed. Routine travel required to other campuses, and moderate physical requirements.
