Established Atlanta headquartered company is seeking a "hands-on" Controller to join their team due to continued growth..
This position will lead the accounting team of 4 - 5 and will report directly to the CFO.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end close process
- Prepare monthly and annual external and internal financial reporting and analysis
- Manage and mentor the general accounting team
- Oversee Inventory transactions
- Develop and maintain financial controls
- Direct accounting policies and procedures
- Special projects as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA and/or MBA a plus
- Minimum 10 years accounting experience to include a mix of public audit experience and corporate accounting experience.
- Excellent leadership skills. Must have managed a staff of at least 2-4 professionals.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Should have a strong background in financial statement preparation and analysis, cash flow management, general ledger accounting and inventory management
- System implementation experience a plus
