Leave of administration specialist

This position is with a large, faith-based organization that operates hospitals and facilities in over nine states. This role focuses on the precise administration and communication of procedures and policies related to leave of absence and return-to-work clearance requests across the organization.
salary: $21 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in the management of return-to-work and leave administration, upholding company policy, federal and state regulations (FMLA, ADAAA, etc.), and HR best practices.
- Accurately resolve assigned cases by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and processing paperwork within established Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
- Oversee the full return-to-work process, including communication of policies, timely collection and processing of required documentation, and serving as a liaison between team members, managers, and external vendor partners.
- Process any assigned in-house specific leave of absence requests (analyzing eligibility, evaluating documentation, updating HRIS systems, and making management notifications).
- Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems (specifically PeopleSoft) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Experience in a large employer setting with multiple leave of absence programs and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Consistent business hours (typically 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- While this is a contract, strong performance provides the first and best opportunity for consideration when a full-time opens.
