Job Overview As an Applications Engineer at Pcore Electric Company/Reuel, you will play a key role in supporting the design, application, and integration of epoxy insulating products for OEMs and utility customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met with technically sound and cost-effective solutions, while also supporting product development and field applications. #LI-MM1 Key Responsibilities Seek opportunities for the application of existing and custom products for utility and industrial applications. Interpret and analyze customer specifications to recommend appropriate bushings, insulators, or custom products. Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customers throughout the product lifecycle. Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, datasheets, and application notes. Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting in collaboration with design and quality teams. Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and technical training sessions. Stay current with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and contribute to internal compliance efforts. Collaborate with R&D and design engineering on new product development and enhancements. Provide a network for communicating with the sales force and product specialists for support of new product needs and understanding. Work trade shows and travel as needed to call on customers, etc. Qaulifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. 2–5+ years of experience in applications or design engineering, preferably in the power or utility sector. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, power systems, and utility standards. Strong product financial understanding and evaluation skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer support and field activities.
