YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

The Marketing Specialist will play an important role for coordinating and implementing marketing programs and events that uphold the corporate image and property identity. This position will facilitate promotions, hotel related special events/programs and manage integrated marketing campaigns. The incumbent is also responsible for managing daily activities in order for the department to effectively implement programs as they relate to marketing and advertising. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for project management for assigned resort-wide materials for nightlife/daylife, food & beverage, entertainment, retail, special events and casino marketing.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
  • Prepare and manage marketing and media plans as needed
  • Open and process jobs through daily traffic system
  • Maintain and update marketing dashboards and performance tracking on Monday.com
  • Draft and issue purchase orders to external vendors
  • Assist with coordination of property photo and video shoots Manage property digital signage programming
  • Plan and support the marketing, advertising, interactive and PR teams, as requested
  • Assisting with coordination and execution of marketing campaigns across web, email, social
  • Draft and edit copy including emails, web, social posts, ads, presentations
  • Other marketing duties as assigned

MUST HAVE'S
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal manners in English
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of employees as well as outside contacts and vendors
  • Strategic thinker with creativity and executional excellence
  • Adept at writing engaging, on-brand copy and creating visually compelling digital assets
  • Strong understanding of paid digital media, social strategy, and email marketing best practices
  • Experience with social media tools, content calendars, analytics dashboards, and digital CRMs
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Innovative, solutions-focused mindset with a desire to push creative boundaries
  • Proof and edit advertising materials upon request
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
  • 2+ years of experience in fast paced hospitality or casino environment

THE WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, sound, dust, cigarette smoke, light (including flashing lights), and pet dander/hair
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Work is performed on site with frequent movement across the resort
  • Hours/schedule of this position may vary depending on need, must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
