Position: Aerial Transport Pilot

Location: San Antonio, TX

Aircraft: King Air 200

Schedule: 7 Days On and 7 Days Off

Annual Salary Range: $111,589.14 - $122,748.06

Contract: 12-18 Month Training Contract Required Depending on Certifications.

Incentives Include:

• Annual salary increases based on performance up to a maximum of $156,224.
• $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (Must Complete Training and Check Ride).
• $40,000 Retention Bonus (6 Month Waiting Period; 3 Year Program).
• Up to $5,000 in Relocation Assistance.

The Aerial Transport Pilot (PIC) is the designated pilot responsible for ensuring the safe operation of flights per FAR Part 135 regulations. As the final authority during flight operations, the PIC oversees other crew members and ensures compliance with operational protocols.

Pilot schedules consist of a rotating 7 days on duty followed by 7 days off. Pilots will work 12-hour shifts (maximum of 14 hours under Part 135) at the Base hangar, with a launch time of 30 minutes after trip notification. Shifts may alternate between day and night periods to allow sufficient rest and readiness.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to San Antonio, Texas.
• Must hold or be able to obtain BE-200PL21 and C-90 PIC Qualification.
• Preferred Single Pilot IFR experience.
• Previous medevac or cargo experience is a plus.
• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted FAA ATP certificate.
• Minimum of 2500 Total Airplane Hours.
• At least 500 Multi-Engine Land Hours.
• A minimum of 1000 PIC Airplane Hours.
• 100 hours in Type required.
• First-Class Medical Certificate is a must.
• Must possess a valid US Passport.

Preferred Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent desired.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to duties in the AirMed International general operating manual.
• Coordinate with AirMed's global operations center to prepare the aircraft for missions.
• Comply with all applicable FARs and OpSpecs.
• Ensure efficient dissemination of flight operations information.
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor in all environments.
• Participate in meetings and additional training/check-flights as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.

Working Conditions:

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to work night, day, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Assist with de-icing, towing, and preparation of the aircraft for flight.
• Travel for training and maintenance assignments may be required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, balance, sit, crouch, kneel, or crawl unassisted for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to assist with lifting and moving up to 150 pounds with help.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
