Join our dynamic team as an Electronics Engineering Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in the testing, calibration, and verification of electronic circuits and devices using a variety of diagnostic tools. You will work closely with engineers to build, test, and refine prototypes, ensuring all activities comply with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, calibration, and verification of electronic circuits and devices using standard diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and signal generators.

  • Record, analyze, and report test results, failures, and corrective actions.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical systems to the component level.

  • Assemble and wire electronic components, subassemblies, and prototype systems following schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

  • Assist engineers in building, testing, and refining prototype designs and new product developments.

  • Maintain and update documentation, test logs, and equipment calibration records.

  • Support the design and construction of test fixtures, jigs, and diagnostic setups.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, ESD, and quality control standards in all laboratory and production activities.

  • Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution and continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

  • Associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in electronic testing, repair, or manufacturing support, preferably in an engineering environment.

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit theory and operation.

  • Proficiency with test & measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and PCB layouts.

  • Skilled in soldering and reworking both TH and SMT components.

  • Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and recording test results.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of radio frequency theory and operation.

  • Experience with data acquisition, test automation, or CAD tools.

  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office setting with working hours from 8am to 4:30pm, including a 30-minute break. The work environment emphasizes safety and quality, fostering collaboration across engineering, warehouse, and quality teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
