Job Summary

River Oaks Golf Course and Event Center is looking for Beverage Cart Attendants for the golf course. The position is a part-time position. The Beverage Cart Attendant provides customer service when greeting members and guests in a cheerful and helpful manner; offering daily drink and menu specials; taking beverage orders from customers and servers; mixing various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard company recipes; calculating and presenting bill and collect payment for each order.

Employees hired for this position are also eligible for tips.

Must be able to work nights and/or weekends.
Essential Job Functions

  1. Provide outstanding customer service when acknowledging and greeting each golfer and guest on the course
  2. Must maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
  3. Providing beverage service to all golfers on the course
  4. Process guest orders to ensure that all items are prepared properly and in a timely manner
  5. Ensure that patrons are satisfied with the products and the service
  6. Process guest checks, accept payment and make change
  7. Accountable for cash and guest check charges
  8. Responsible for stocking beer cooler and supplies
  9. Perform all set-up and cleaning of beverage cart and beverage areas
  10. Responsible for safe operation of beverage cart on the course and grounds
  11. Perform various duties as assigned by management
Minimum Requirements
  1. Must be at least 18 years of age for service of intoxicating liquor
  2. One year of bartending, alcohol service, or beverage cart experience
  3. Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service
  4. Knowledge of laws concerning the service and use of intoxicating liquor
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. Must have outstanding customer service skills
  2. Must be able to understand and execute the safety with service of intoxicating beverages
  3. Must be able to properly ID customers for service of alcohol and tobacco
  4. Must possess basic math skills
  5. Must have the ability to handle money and charges
  6. Must present a professional image
  7. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with elected officials, employees and the public
