We are looking for a part-time Field Service Technician to support our growing South Broward, Florida territory. As a part-time Field Service Technician you will complete scheduled service calls for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties on an as needed basis. You will use the company provided van, equipment, and technology to manage schedules and build reports with details and photos of services rendered. You will need to efficiently manage service appointments, provide excellent customer service, and train and direct junior technicians, as appropriate. You should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have field service experience, and the ability to adapt to a changing work schedule. Responsibilities
  • Respond to field dispatches.
  • Meet with the client to greet and discuss scheduled services.
  • Ensure the client signs the Terms and Conditions before work begins.
  • Conduct routine property maintenance onsite.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.
  • Maintain equipment stock in the company vehicle.
  • Generate post-job customer reports using a mobile tablet.
NOTE: HomeSmiles technicians will not amend or repair any major home appliance.

Qualifications
  • Handyman skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record (must be insurable)
  • Experience performing maintenance services (pressure washing a plus). Some mechanical and electrical skills preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 35 miles and work according to a changing schedule.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Physically fit and able to work with heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds).
  • Able to work from a ladder / roof.
  • Good communication skills with strong customer service attitude.
  • English language fluency required. Spanish a plus.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
