With a reputation built on technical expertise, collaboration, and commitment to quality, the company has delivered some of the region's most complex and mission-critical infrastructure systems.

About the Position

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs.
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project scope and field conditions.
  • Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering sessions.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, production rates, and estimating templates.
  • Support multiple delivery methods, including design-build, CMAR, and hard-bid projects.
  • Coordinate closely with project managers and engineers to align estimates with construction methods.
  • Assist in project handoffs, cost tracking, and post-bid analysis to improve future estimating accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of estimating experience, with at least 3 years in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or public works projects.
  • Experience working with municipal, state, or federal contract requirements.
  • Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid or equivalent estimating software.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Position is located in Reno, NV.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Familiarity with water/wastewater treatment processes, utilities, and concrete structures.
  • Ability to interpret civil, mechanical, and structural drawings.
  • Effective written and verbal communication for coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development and continuing education support
  • Stable company with long-term backlog and strong market presence
