One of our clients in Washington, DC needs a Senior DevOps Engineer for a permanent position.
  • Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
  • Location: Onsite
  • Position Type: Full time
Job Description:

Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools. Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider. Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may bebroad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions toproblems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Minimum of 5 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 year of relevant experience with 3 years of related technical specialized experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field
  • In absence of degree, additional years of experience may be substituted for educational requirements
  • TS/SCI eligible
