Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide compassionate nursing care in various post-acute care facilities
  • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, respiration, and pulse
  • Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents
  • Continuously observe residents and report any concerns or emergencies to supervising staff
  • Facilitate communication between residents, healthcare staff, and families
  • Safely transport residents within the facility using assistive devices when needed
  • Engage meaningfully with residents to provide companionship
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certifications in Maryland
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures and medical terminology is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent observational skills
