Job Title: Polysomnography Tech II - Must have a New Mexico license. 75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) - NO LOCAL TRAVELERS -Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.13 weeks assignment, Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Position will float to other areas as needed. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.Responsibilities: All Polysomnography duties -Scores sleep studies -Communicate with sleep center physicians regarding their patients and/or testing procedures. - Assist with training of Polysomnographic Trainee and technicians including over seeing testing performance. - Assist with quality monitoring - Assist with patient compliance program, as needed including making follow up contacts.CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross - Registered Polysomnography /Polysomnography - NM License requiredEXP: 2 years' experience current required and have worked with G3/Alice 6 software Philips G3 experience preferred.SHIFTS: 12 hour night shift position. Shift start time: 18:30 Shifts to include every other weekend ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
