As a Principal AI Solutions Architect Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of AI for Oracle Database. What You Will Experience:

• Strategic Influence: Contribute to the AI direction of Oracle Database by aligning technical decisions with business growth.
• Executive Visibility: Craft and present solution architectures and key milestones that engage and influence senior executives.
• Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to deliver powerful, value-driven AI solutions utilizing the latest OCI technologies.
• Business-Critical Design: Lead high-priority architectural initiatives that drive measurable business value and operational efficiency through AI/ML adoption.
• Professional Growth: Work alongside seasoned architects and technical leaders, gaining recognition as a key contributor while providing mentorship and guidance on best practices.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will tackle complex AI initiatives at scale for Oracle Databases, including but not limited to:

• Developing and owning the architectural vision for AI agent adoption within Oracle Databases.
• Designing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Leading architecture and design reviews as well as complex problem-solving initiatives.
• Partnering with engineering teams to ensure architectural integrity and adherence to best practices.
• Establishing and enforcing best practices for system performance, reliability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Providing technical mentorship and thought leadership across engineering teams (without direct people management).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record in system and platform architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI, conversational AI, or intelligent automation systems (required).
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
• Experience with developer platforms, SDKs, or APIs.
• Strong understanding of developer experience principles, including documentation, onboarding, and test environments.
• Solid knowledge of security, authentication/authorization, and API management best practices.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS solutions is highly desirable.

Specific salary ranges may vary based on experience and location, with a hiring range in the US from $82,500 to $199,500 per annum, potentially including bonuses and equity.
