The starting salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and availability.

The Regional Operations Coach is responsible for overseeing the operations, financial performance, training, development, and guest satisfaction across multiple restaurant locations. This role involves hiring the right talent and ensuring that restaurant teams consistently uphold the culture and results as per company standards. The Coach motivates, communicates effectively, and removes obstacles to drive maximum performance while developing solutions that enhance business outcomes. You will serve as a key resource for restaurant teams and your peers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide coaching and support to restaurant teams, ensuring that General Managers facilitate appropriate development for Assistant Managers and team members, and promote performance enhancement.
  • Utilize routine restaurant visits for discussions and coaching to further develop team capabilities.
  • Foster teamwork by conducting regular area meetings.
  • Build talent through the implementation of the Bench Plan.
  • Ensure all General Managers and Assistant Managers hold Serve-Safe certification, aligned with company requirements for team certification.
  • Effectively communicate brand culture and strategies to restaurant teams, Senior Area Coaches, and COO, ensuring all parties engage with company goals during sales meetings and rallies.
  • Act as a team builder and coach, addressing and eliminating communication barriers.
  • Manage controllable expenses according to the plan, utilizing tools and reports to ensure financial controls are met.
  • Ensure consistent execution of marketing programs across the area.
  • Develop core learning and standards, utilizing a coaching plan to guide effective restaurant visits.
  • Exhibit 'POSITIVE ENERGY' by promptly addressing and resolving customer concerns and encouraging customer-focused behavior within the team.
  • Drive restaurant operations to achieve or exceed performance metrics, holding General Managers and Assistant Managers accountable for sales growth and process execution.
  • Maintain a positive community image.
  • Ensure ICOS processes are implemented within the restaurants and utilize operational metrics to monitor profit variables.
  • Analyze P&L and relevant reports to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions through in-restaurant coaching.
  • Conduct periodic and quarterly business reviews to ensure improvement plans are in place.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Maintain communication with restaurant teams and keep Senior Area Coaches, Directors of Operations, and the COO informed about restaurant status.
  • Provide leadership and motivation, building trust and positive relationships with restaurant teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with office support teams for expertise in needed areas.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
  • Preferred Education: 4-year degree.
  • 2 years of multi-unit experience preferred.
  • 5 years of proven restaurant operations experience required.
  • Must maintain a current health card as per state or local regulations.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance are required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check including motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Serv Safe Certification is required and must be maintained.
