RATE RANGE: $36 - $45/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent who is organized, proactive, and possesses strong leadership and communication skills.

Position Overview: As an Electrical Superintendent, you will lead and mentor our field team while managing multiple projects in industrial, commercial, and healthcare sectors. You will be the key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project managers, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and safely.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Plan and supervise electrical construction activities, determining methods of construction, Client levels, material quantities, and schedules.
  • Train and manage field staff, ensuring effective teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to create and maintain project schedules, monitor critical path dates, and resolve conflicts.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders about project status, challenges, and quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, conducting regular inspections and addressing any violations.
  • Assist in managing subcontractor relationships, enforcing quality standards, and coordinating schedules.
  • Support project close-outs, ensuring completion of punch lists and documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years of experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar leadership role within electrical construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience in large projects in the Healthcare, Industrial, Federal, and/or Commercial markets is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with construction scheduling and cost control.
