Under direction of the Director of Engineering, the GIS Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating and overseeing all operations of the City's GIS system, including data maintenance, GIS hardware/software, and training activities. This position supervises the GIS Team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Geography, Urban Planning, or closely related field.
• Four years of successful experience in municipal or other government agency GIS system management.
• Two years supervisory experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
• A Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) Certificate.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online.
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Demonstrated skill in object-oriented programming languages applicable to GIS, database, and web technologies.
• Experience in the management of the ESRI ArcGIS suite of software, and Microsoft window applications and databases used within governmental agencies.
