Every role at St. David's Medical Center impacts our patients' lives. As a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a crucial role in patient care and procedural support.

Job Summary

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you will provide direct and indirect care, assist in scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cases, and monitor hemodynamics. Key responsibilities include:

  • Scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures.
  • Documenting and monitoring procedures in the hemodynamic system.
  • Educating patients and families about the procedures.
  • Assisting with supply ordering and inventory maintenance.

Job Requirements

Experience: Preferred Cath Lab or Special Procedures Lab experience.

Education:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Current enrollment in an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • BLS Certification required per St. David's Healthcare policy.
  • ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • RCIS, RCES, or RT (R) license from an accrediting body needed within 12 months.
