Clinical Supervisor

Were hiring a Clinical Supervisor to lead day-to-day clinical operations, keep care safe and compliant, and grow our clinicians. Youll balance people leadership with execution: timely notes, strong risk management, and sound clinical decisions in real time. Key Responsibilities Clinical Supervision & Staff Development Provide individual and group supervision that meets CA BBS requirements (plans, logs, evaluations, signatures). Offer case consultation, support diagnosis and treatment planning, and escalate high-risk cases appropriately. Observe sessions and give clear, actionable feedback to improve skills. Quality, Documentation & Compliance Ensure assessments, treatment plans, notes, and discharges meet policy, payer, and regulatory standards. Conduct regular chart reviews and follow up on corrections. Maintain HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2, mandated reporting, and privacy/security standards. Client Care & Risk Management Provide clinical guidance during crises, suicide risk, and suspected abuse/neglect. Support level-of-care decisions, care coordination, and referrals. Operations & Throughput Monitor caseloads, intakes, no-shows, and continuity of care. Partner with scheduling, front office, and billing to reduce access and documentation issues. People Leadership & Training Set expectations, complete check-ins and evaluations, and address performance gaps with coaching and PIPs (in partnership with HR). Help recruit, interview, and onboard clinicians. Lead trainings on documentation, risk assessment, ethics, and evidence-based practice. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted CA license: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist. Meets CA BBS supervisor requirements (post-licensure experience + supervision training). 3+ years post-licensure in outpatient/community behavioral health, including crisis/risk work. Strong skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.
