As a Continuous Improvement Consultant 1, you'll help Maverik operate smarter and more efficiently by partnering with teams to assess, redesign, and improve business processes. This role blends analytical problem-solving with hands-on process improvement work, supporting the development of Lean and Six Sigma capabilities while helping the organization continuously evolve how work gets done.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Perform process assessments using data and analytical tools to identify improvement opportunities
- Support and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and business process management methodologies
- Conduct end-to-end process analysis and assist with future-state design in partnership with senior CI leaders
- Develop and maintain Lean and Six Sigma training curriculum to support organizational capability building
- Assist with managing and maintaining the standard operating procedures (SOP) library
- Continuously build expertise in Lean tools, methodologies, and continuous improvement best practices
You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have:- 1+ years of experience supporting business process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives
- Hands-on experience managing or implementing an operating system or standardized process framework
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess workflows and identify improvement opportunities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points if you also bring:- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- Lean or Six Sigma certification
- Experience supporting training, curriculum development, or change adoption efforts
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $65,000-$80,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
