Job Summary:
Emerald Care Center Tulsa is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. Our team is committed to fostering a supportive environment for both our residents and our staff. We are seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Director to lead our human resources department and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care. The HR Director will oversee all human resources functions and manage payroll processes within the facility, ensuring the implementation of HR and Payroll policies and practices that align with our organizational goals and compliance requirements. This role will be pivotal in driving staff engagement, recruitment, retention, and overall workforce development.
Work Environment:
An office setting in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that support the facility's goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee development.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the facility. • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal requirements.
- Performance Management: Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Support managers in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues. • Training and Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance staff skills and career growth.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and align with organizational goals.
- HR Administration: Manage employee records and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
- Health and Safety: Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Address any workplace safety concerns and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment. • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to HR staff. Foster a collaborative and efficient HR department.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations.
