SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer supports the Governance and Reporting service by leading the design, governance, and continuous improvement of operational risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks. The role enables data-driven decision-making by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and scalability of metrics across the Operational Risk and Resilience function. This position partners closely with risk management, compliance, engineering, and business stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, govern, and maintain enterprise-wide operational risk metrics aligned with regulatory expectations and internal risk frameworks.
  • Develop and implement scalable dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into key risk indicators and other operational risk metrics.
  • Collaborate with data governance, engineering, and risk teams to drive data quality, accuracy, and integrity in reporting.
  • Translate complex risk data into actionable insights for senior leadership and risk committees.
  • Support strategic planning and risk mitigation efforts through clear, data-driven reporting.
  • Promote automation and self-service reporting capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and refine reporting frameworks to address evolving regulatory requirements, business needs, and emerging risk trends.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams within Operational Risk and Resilience, including governance, operations, and engineering functions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics or data visualization.
  • 4+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Proven experience designing metrics, reporting frameworks, and implementing BI tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one major BI platform such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Understanding of risk management principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Archer GRC tools preferred.
MUST HAVE
  • 4+ years of experience developing dashboards and reports using PowerBI.
  • 8+ years of experience with data visualization or data analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one major BI platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Proven expertise in metric design, reporting frameworks, and BI tool implementation.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
  • Understanding of risk management principles.

  • Experience with Archer GRC tools.
