The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is in search of passionate Medicare Sales Representatives. This field-based role requires candidates to effectively connect and support their local community. You will work closely with an experienced team of Medicare Sales Agents, under the guidance of a supportive Senior Manager and Regional Director who are dedicated to your success. Together, we will embody Humana's mission: excel in the basics, differentiate through outstanding service, and increase our community impact.

Key Responsibilities in This Role

  • Establish Trust: Educate individuals about Humana's Medicare Advantage plans, along with additional offerings such as Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
  • Engage with the Community: Build strong relationships through grassroots marketing efforts, attend community events, and conduct personalized home visits that highlight what sets Humana apart.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Generate self-driven sales, achieve performance targets, and enhance Humana's visibility in the market, becoming a trusted resource in your community.

You will interact with potential customers through in-person, virtual, and phone communications, with face-to-face visits being a vital part of this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must reside in the area to effectively serve the community.
  • Comfortable with daily face-to-face interactions in prospective members' homes and engaging with the community through services, local organizations, or events.
  • A valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with coverage limits of at least 25/25/10 (or higher based on state requirements).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License.
  • Previous experience in selling Medicare products.
  • Experience in public speaking or delivering presentations.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, able to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages.

This position is subject to Humana's Driving Safety and Vehicle Management Program requiring driver's license validation and MVR review. Any associate interacting with a member in a language other than English must pass a language proficiency assessment. Applicants are required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as administered by the Federal Government.

Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, with member meetings often requiring appointments or event attendance during evenings and weekends.

Training Requirement: Mandatory attendance during the first five weeks of employment.

Interview Process: We utilize an interviewing technology called HireVue to enhance our hiring process, enabling us to connect with you at your convenience to discuss your relevant skills and experience.

Compensation: The pay range for this position reflects a good faith estimate for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting, incorporating both base pay and commission. Actual earnings may vary based on individual performance, aligned with company policies. The pay range is $80,000 - $125,000 per year.

Travel Requirements: While this is a remote position, some travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings might be required.
