Applications Engineer

Our client, a well-established manufacturer with a rich international history and a track record of stability, is experiencing tremendous growth in their product line. They are looking for a full-time, permanent Sales Engineer position based in Parsippany, New Jersey
The client seeks a proactive and solution-oriented professional who holds a degree in engineering or a related field and possesses at least 3 years of relevant experience. The preferred candidate will have experience in industrial automation and machinery manufacturing/sales. Strong expertise in technical sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are prerequisites for this role.

Key Responsibilites.
Develop and deliver customized technical presentations, aligning product capabilities with customer requirements.
Engage in detailed discussions with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements, offering informed technical advice and solutions.
Play an integral role in collaborating with sales teams to understand customer requirements, providing essential sales support and advanced expertise.
Take charge of local procurement and production matters, including the organization of part purchases and coordination of production modifications with external providers.
Actively recommend improvements by suggesting material or machinery upgrades that promise cost savings and production enhancements.
