Job Description Job Description A direct hire opportunity is available for a Permanent Hospital Pharmacist position in the northern suburbs of New York City, specifically located in White Plains, NY. This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking to apply their clinical knowledge in a hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications within the hospital. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapies. Monitor patient health and progress to recommend appropriate drug therapies. Educate patients and staff on medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain accurate records. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Licensed Pharmacist with a current state license. Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and hospital protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team collaboration. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
