Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/17/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications for a 7 on/7 off night shift position. Responsibilities MRI department position focused on cross-sectional imaging Night shift schedule, 7 nights on and 7 nights off, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Full-time 40-hour workweek with 10-hour shifts Uses Epic EMR for charting Responsibilities include patient identification, order verification, and MRI scan preparation Performs MRI procedures per department protocols and collaborates with radiologists for scanning techniques Prepares and administers contrast materials under physician supervision Maintains infection control, sterile technique, and MRI safety protocols Manages image acquisition, transfer, archiving, and documentation in compliance with quality standards Maintains knowledge of MRI equipment, safety procedures, and emergency protocols Requirements Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required ARRT registered technologist Current BLS certification for healthcare providers from the AHA Active state license required if applicable Current Utah State Licensure required for positions in Utah to administer medication Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred Physical ability to perform standing, lifting, manual dexterity, and hearing/seeing tasks Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-642142.
