Join our dynamic and dedicated Behavioral Health team at SSM Health as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient setting, surrounded by a cohesive group of 12 psychiatrists and approximately 35 mental health professionals.

In this role, you will focus primarily on medication management while addressing the occasional psychotherapy needs of a diverse child and adolescent patient population. Enjoy the flexibility of scheduling with a full-time commitment of 4.5 days a week and no nightly call responsibilities, as our Telepsych partner provides support during overnight hours. Additionally, you will have the option to engage in virtual care, further enhancing your work-life balance.

  • Flexible 4-5 day workweek (full-time)
  • 32 patient contact hours (full-time)
  • Flexible FTE options (80-100%)
  • Night call in rotation every 16-18 days, primarily during weeknights
  • Rotational weekend inpatient rounding with additional stipend
  • Opportunities for community outreach

  • Focus on medication management for Child/Adolescent patients

Requirements:

  • M.D. or D.O.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship training in Child Psychiatry
  • Active and unrestricted license in Wisconsin (or eligibility for licensing)
  • Active and unrestricted DEA license
