Join our team at Regency Village at Bend as a Dietary Aid/Cook and play an integral role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. If you are passionate about food, teamwork and making a difference in the lives of our seniors through great food and amazing service, this is the job for you
As a Server/Dietary Helper, you willprepare and deliver food to residents, confirm their meal satisfaction, andfill requests. You will also bus tables, change table linens, and reset tablesfollowing meal service.
YouWill:
- Ensure that condiment and beverage containersare clean and filled
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Maintain infection control standards
- Plate food and deliver to tables and rooms
- Wash and sanitize dishes, tables, and chairs
- Reset tables and Fold napkins
- Relate and communicate appropriately withresidents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees
- Have the ability to obtain Food Handler's card
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Have compassion and interest in working with thesenior population
- Maintain a clean, neat, comfortable, and safedemeanor
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice,individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
