Pharmacy Operations Supervisor

Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will take charge of the daily non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensuring an efficient workflow while delivering exceptional patient experiences. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with hands-on pharmacy technician duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy systems to manage patient and drug information, while processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Lead, train, and develop pharmacy technicians, including managing their schedules and performance evaluations.
- Enhance customer experiences by proactively addressing needs and resolving any complaints effectively.
- Assist in patient care delivery, which includes patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
- Ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly by coordinating daily schedules, maintaining inventory, and adhering to regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate community outreach by managing immunization clinics and building fruitful retail partnerships.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (required outside of Puerto Rico).
- Minimum of one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital settings.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous management or leadership experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Proven experience working with Walgreens, achieving top performance evaluations.
