Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale healthcare program focused on launching a new healthcare benefit product. This Contract-to-Hire role requires someone who can operate in a dynamic environment, manage multiple complex workstreams, and effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep program management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and hands-on leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a large, multi-track program related to new healthcare benefit product development and launch.
- Oversee multiple workstreams and coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams, including business, technical, and vendor partners.
- Partner with senior leadership and stakeholders to align program goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide structure, visibility, and governance across program activities.
- Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and milestones to ensure successful program execution.
- Collaborate with and support multiple Project Managers working within the broader program.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise communication and program updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management environments.
- Minimum 3 years leading large, complex programs with multiple tracks/workstreams.
- Healthcare industry experience (payer/product) strongly preferred.
- PMP certification is required.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating business, technical, and vendor teams.
- Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work in hybrid environments and manage onsite expectations (3-4 times per month).
