Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Lot Porter to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Lot Porter is to safely and efficiently move buses from one location to another, ensuring that vehicles are properly positioned for the day's operations. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our business, and the Lot Porter will play a critical role in maintaining the timely flow of transportation services. Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently move buses to designated areas within the lot. Fueling, dumping, and parking larger vehicles in the lot. Ensure vehicles are parked in an orderly and secure manner to meet operational needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the buses and lot to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Assist with pre-trip inspections by ensuring vehicles are ready for departure. Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure safety of vehicles and personnel. Communicate effectively with team members and management to support smooth operations. Report any issues with vehicles or lot conditions to the supervisor. Qualifications: Previous experience in a transportation, parking, or similar role is preferred. This position requires a valid CDL. Ability to operate large vehicles or equipment in a safe and controlled manner. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
