Print Support Specialist I

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Driving Requirements: Personal vehicle required for offsite support; mileage reimbursement provided
Summary
The Print Support Specialist is responsible for daily onsite support of network and workstation printers. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while responding to technical assistance requests and supporting device functionality. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting service activities, maintaining consumable inventory, and ensuring service level agreements are met. The role involves extensive walking and lifting (up to 50 lbs; assistance provided if heavier).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide daily support for site-specific printers and multifunction devices
• Respond promptly to customer requests, ensuring accurate and professional issue resolution
• Deliver user training and technical support, including remote access guidance when needed
• Document all service calls and customer interactions in the service management system
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians or account management
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding progress and resolution status
• Track and report fleet performance and meter reads
• Manage onsite parts, consumables, and printer hardware inventory
• Support printer procurement and oversee hot-swap device availability
• Maintain device tracking tools and databases to ensure accuracy
