Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist

Hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA

Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $190,000 total.

As a Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our company's team and culture from the ground up. You will take charge of the entire recruiting lifecycle, develop innovative hiring strategies, engage with top-tier talent, refine our processes, and collaborate closely with leadership to drive growth. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source, engage, and hire exceptional talent across diverse functions.
  • Create a streamlined and enjoyable candidate experience from first interaction to job offer.
  • Enhance and promote our employer brand through strategic channels.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define roles, craft job descriptions, and make informed interview selections.
  • Optimize hiring operations, tools, workflows, and enforce data-driven analytics.
  • Assist in early-stage people operations, including onboarding, performance reviews, and culture building initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within a high-growth startup or agency environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • A strong passion for people, culture, and foundational growth.
  • Ability to thrive and operate independently in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem).
  • Proven success in filling both technical and non-technical positions.
