Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the operations support team, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Lyndhurst, VA

Pay Range: $19.5

Shift: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Utilize computer systems to manage inventory, shipping, and receiving data accurately

  • Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to prepare materials for dispatch

  • Assist in physical inventory counts, audits, and report preparation to ensure data accuracy

  • Create shipping labels and documentation, including international shipments

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and inspection standards

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Office

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
