Location: Tampa, FL
Shifts: 12-Hour Day Shifts
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)
Schedule: Full-time (3 days per week rotation weekends) or Part-time (3 days per week rotation weekends)

Are you an experienced caregiver ready to support higher-acuity patients in a safe, respectful environment? 5 Star Cares is hiring compassionate CNAs, DSPs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide meaningful care in our group homes. We are specifically seeking professionals with hands-on experience supporting critical care and Level 2 patients.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide personal care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility support
  • Assist with daily living activities in a respectful, nurturing manner
  • Accurately document care and communicate with the care team
  • Support individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and emotionally supportive environment
  • Use standard care equipment safely and effectively
What We're Looking For:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing
• Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to quality care
• Comfortable caring for Level 2 or higher-acuity patients
• Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Ability to pass an ACHA Level 2 background screening
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more and assist with physical transfers
• Experience with behavioral or developmentally disabled populations preferred
