Your Career
We are looking for an enthusiastic problem solver to lead our Unit 42 Managed Detection and Response (MDR) team. This role involves overseeing a team dedicated to internal security monitoring, threat hunting, and incident response. As the MDR Team Lead, you will influence the team dynamics by developing processes, methodologies, and capabilities that enhance our effectiveness.

Your Impact

• Recruit and guide a global team of MDR Analysts, emphasizing process improvements and effective methodologies.
• Analyze incidents from real customer environments, identifying ongoing threats to their security.
• Provide insightful feedback to Product, Research, and Engineering teams to enhance customer solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Security Research, Threat Intelligence, and Threat Hunting teams to detect and respond to emerging threats.

Your Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in team management, with global team management experience preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with documented experience working closely with customers.
• Strong grasp of the cyber threat landscape, including tools, tactics, and techniques of attacks.
• Basic coding skills (e.g., Python).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in investigating sophisticated or nuanced threats, including forensic analysis and incident response.
  • Familiarity with investigative technologies like SIEM, packet capture analysis, and Endpoint Detection and Response tools.
  • Knowledge of APTs and the attack lifecycle.
  • Awareness of organizational cybersecurity defenses and remediation techniques.
• Preferable: Experience in SOC analysis or incident response environments.

The Team
You will lead a team dedicated to safeguarding customers by identifying the most sophisticated cyber threats in their environments. Leveraging the Cortex product suite along with expert methodologies and techniques, the team works to enhance product performance and provide invaluable insights to improve our offerings.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation for this position is competitive and will be based on qualifications, experience, and location, with a starting base salary between $158,000 and $254,000/YR, alongside potential stock options and bonuses.
