Among the notable recognitions, the city received gold certification as a Community for all Ages and was designated a Walk Friendly Community and Bicycle Friendly Community.The Account Services Manager, under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Business Services, performs a variety of managerial and technical work in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of all billing activities and customer service management. As a representative of management, supports the mission, vision, strategic plan, goals and decisions of the department and the City.Salary range: $70,779.00 - $88,476.00**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or business management or other business-related field required* Considerable experience with a minimum of five years experience in accounting, finance or related field including management experience required* Valid state Motor Vehicle Operators license and acceptable driving record required**NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:*** Knowledge of accounting, budgeting and resource planning.* Experience with Microsoft Windows 365 Suite including word processing and spreadsheets.* Ability to evaluate and maintain industry specific software, preference with Itron, meter reading software and Advanced Utility Systems CIS Infinity, utility billing system.* Skills in investigating and reconciling customer accounts and general ledger accounts.* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, subordinates, peers and management.* Ability to develop, direct and motivate employees.* Ability to develop policies and procedures for employees.* Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, during stressful situations.
