Student Medical Assistant - Ideal for Pre-Med, Pre-Nursing, or Pre-PA Students

This role is perfect for pre-med, pre-nursing, or pre-PA students looking to build a competitive application while making a meaningful impact in patient care.
What You'll Do:
- Gain clinical exposure by preparing patient rooms, setting up instruments, and assisting with basic procedures.
- Assist with direct patient care, including helping patients with transfers, collecting specimens, and preparing for exams.
- Perform phlebotomy and learn essential clinical techniques under supervision.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance eligibility and organizing patient flow.
- Interact with patients and healthcare providers, developing essential communication and professional skills.
- Handle medical records in compliance with HIPAA, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at healthcare operations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and the PA Department of Health standards.
