Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of vehicles to provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Gaining extensive experience working on a variety of domestic and foreign car models.
- Conducting thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborating with a team to address and resolve guest concerns efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in the workplace.
- Communicating effectively with the service department regarding vehicle issues.
- Working alongside fellow technicians to troubleshoot problems and achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to serve our guests.
- Independent shop experience is required, with proficiency in working on all makes and models. Experience with European vehicles is a bonus
- 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Required Diagnostic Experience: 7+ years in diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles.
- ASE or Manufacturer Specific Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Desire to meet or exceed hourly goals: Aiming for 50+ hours weekly.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Aiming for long-term career growth within our company.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and/or move over 100 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to work with tools on vehicles positioned above head level.
- Comfort working in tight spaces as needed for vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to effectively utilize hand tools.
- Ability to stand or walk for most of the workday.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in using a computer for various tasks.
