As a Team Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every shift runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience to our guests. You will balance hands-on involvement with guiding and supporting your team, taking charge of both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) activities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Shifts: Oversee shifts to provide outstanding guest experiences, manage team dynamics, and maintain operational excellence.
- Key Holder Duties: Responsible for opening and closing the restaurant, ensuring security and proper setup.
- Task Management: Prioritize and delegate tasks to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
- Enhance Guest Experience: Engage with guests, address their needs and concerns promptly.
- Support Your Team: Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Operational Standards: Maintain knowledge of FOH and BOH processes, ensuring food safety and cleanliness protocols are followed.
- Inventory Oversight: Help manage inventory, ensuring prep levels are adequate and food quality is upheld.
- Cash Management: Supervise cash handling and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Problem Resolution: Address any guest or team issues promptly and professionally.
- Flexibility: Willingness to perform additional duties as needed to meet the evolving needs of the restaurant.

Qualifications Needed:
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Solid understanding of food safety, guest service, and restaurant operations.
- Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and to stand or walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Experience in training and developing team members.
- Familiarity with inventory management and cash-handling processes.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure.
